Elscint Automation, the leading ISO 9001 certified (RWTUV) vibratory bowl feeder manufacturer from India offers seven models of bowl feeders, namely the 100, 160, 250, 250 D, 400, 400 HD and 630. The Elscint vibratory bowl feeders are CE marked as conforming to the stringent European safety norms for machinery safety, as well as the Low Voltage Directive and the Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive.

Bowls

The Bowls have many distinct tooling features built into the basic design, with tracks varying in width and shape to accommodate different types of components. These inherent features of the bowl are of great assistance when bowl tooling is being developed to fulfil a specific tooling application. The bowls are made in either cast aluminium or stainless steel. Various types of stainless steel bowl are available, such as conical, step design, cylindrical and outside taper bowls.

Drive

All drive units are engineered to give stable performance at high speed with minimum maintenance. Totally encapsulated coils are used, with adequate power for particular models. A removable guard/cover is provided for safety. All drive units are for full-wave operation, hence the energy consumption of Elscint vibratory drive units is 40 per cent less than competitive units using half-wave operation.

Control unit

Every drive unit is supplied with a separate control box with which it is possible to control the speed of the feeder. Standard units are suitable for electrical supply of 230V, 50 Hz. Soft start controllers are also available. If required, units suitable for 110V, 60Hz can be supplied.

Accessories

Elscint offers various types of stand, X-Y table, Z adjustment, hoppers, level controllers, silos and sensors for all models. This makes Elscint a 'one stop solution' for part feeding.

Applications

Elscint vibratory bowls are suitable for feeding components for subsequent operations on special-purpose assembly machines in cosmetic, electrical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, optical, bearing and many other industries. The components can be plastic caps, spouts, capsules and electrical connectors or bearings, as well as heavy parts such as anchor bolts, bearing races and metal sockets. Even oily parts can be fed!
