Citect appoints new sales executive for CitectSCADA

Citect Germany is investing for future business growth, with the appointment of Daniel Harings as sales executive for CitectSCADA, Citect's market- leading, control, monitoring and reporting package. Harings combines qualifications in international trade and business administration with experience of automation and satellite communications technologies.

Haring's brief is to expand sales of CitectSCADA and associated products by fostering closer links with Citect's integration partners (CIP) and by actively prospecting for new business opportunities. Prior to joining, Citect, Harings had three years' sales experience in the automation sector working for Keyence Germany. In this position he dealt mostly with automotive OEMs and supplier companies; but he was also involved in the electronic, chemical and food/beverages industries.

Harings says: "I wanted to advance my career in the software sector with a company that is dynamic and growing; that is why I applied to Citect.
