Schaeffler sponsors motorsport teams in 2010The Schaeffler Group is supporting three major motorsport events during the 2010 season. As well as partnering with Audi in the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) and BMW in the FIA World Touring Car Championships (WTCC), Schaeffler is also supporting engineering students with several sponsorship activities in Formula Student 2010.

In the WTCC, the green logo of INA, Schaeffler's engine, transmission, chassis and rolling bearings brand, as well as the yellow logo of Schaeffler's clutch and transmission specialist LuK, are among the colours already being worn by the RBM BMW works team. Four-time world champion Andy Priaulx and Augusto Farfus are the team's drivers.

The INA and LuK logos will also be prominent on the starting lines this year at the international DTM venues. The LuK brand is featured on the Audi A4 driven by Mattias Ekstroem. Schaeffler is also represented by the racing car driven by Mike Rockenfeller. The DTM Audi Phoenix team also displays the INA logo.

Schaeffler is also supporting a number of teams taking part in this year's Formula Student competition. This international event has become an established talent pool for recruiting engineering students. The competition creates valuable contacts between engineering students and the Schaeffler Group.
