Rockwell Automation has appointed Martin Walder to lead the Industry focused teams in Oil & Gas, Water, Process, Automotive & Energy. Walder, who previously worked for Rockwell from 1989–2001 in Sales & Business Management roles, rejoins after seven years as Managing Director of ABB Robotics and a period of time in Private Equity.
Having also previously worked for Honeywell, Walder brings with him a considerable knowledge and experience in these specialist sectors and in business management in general. He has also been active on the CBI’s Manufacturing Council and is the current Chairman of the Engineering and Manufacturing Alliance (EAMA) – an umbrella trade association representing around 1700 companies in the mechanical engineering sector.
