Thanks to increased investment and regional stocking by Brammer, plants can now access LV motors from Siemens Industry more quickly across the UK. Brammer has increased its investment in motors from Siemens Industry to stock in regional branches across the UK. In addition, it now also holds a greater stock of the motors at its National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton. The investment and increased stock across the regional branches is designed to enable quicker sourcing of parts in the event of a breakdown or for maintenance or repair requirements to help plants avoid costly downtime.
There are more than 10 branches involved in the initiative across the UK, ensuring quick access to high quality Siemens Industry LV motors regardless of a plant’s location.
Jeremy Salisbury, head of marketing, Brammer, comments: “We are focused on delivering the best service possible to our customers, and understand how vital it is that repairs and replacements can be made as quickly as possible to prevent downtime. This is why we’ve invested in additional LV motor stock from Siemens across our regional branches as part of an overall strategy to provide an enhanced service and availability of product to our customers.”
Ian Welsh, business manager – industrial motors, Siemens Drive Technologies, comments: “We’re pleased to have worked together with Brammer on this programme to ensure it can meet the needs of its customers in supplying high-quality parts as quickly and easily as possible.”
