There are few companies that have embraced modern apprenticeship more consistently than the linear motion specialist HepcoMotion. Year on year it has augmented its skilled workforce with a fresh intake of engineering apprentices, and 2014 is no exception.
The company’s chairman and former apprentice, Giles Forster, explains: “With high youth unemployment we are keen to provide a solution that also makes sound business sense for HepcoMotion.”
HepcoMotion is now actively recruiting for this year’s intake and is offering two types of apprenticeships: the NVQ3 aimed at candidates looking for alternatives to A levels and the NVQ4 (FdSc) which is for those already qualified to A level standard.
Mr Forster concludes: “As a company we highly value apprenticeships as a way of recruiting good people who can go on to work in various parts of the business. This new drive is a great opportunity for anyone who is seeking a career in engineering with a company that prides itself on innovative design and is globally successful.”
