adi Group has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of Lee Price as Group Sales Director to drive company-wide growth across its specialist engineering divisions.

Lee brings with him more than 10 years’ sales and business development experience in the commercial building, safety and facilities management sectors, which he will utilise to implement adi’s long-term business development strategy and cement its position in the market as a leading engineering provider. Previous roles include national commercial director for facilities management provider, GSH Group and various senior posts at construction services company, Carillion.

Originally appointed to the role of commercial director of adi’s Facilities Engineering (FE) business, Lee has now assumed responsibility for company-wide sales as Group Sales Director following an initial review of the FE growth strategy. Lee will be working closely with all adi businesses and further developing Group targets to ensure the company maximises opportunities that exist in today’s challenging marketplace.

The appointment is the latest milestone in adi’s aggressive growth strategy which will see the Group double its staff and turnover by 2020, creating 500 new jobs nationwide.

Lee Price comments: “With a constantly evolving service offering, and a pledge to increase its workforce exponentially over the next few years, it’s an extremely exciting time to be part of the adi team.

“The Group works with an extremely impressive set of customers across a wide variety of sectors, and prides itself on maintaining long-standing business partnerships in industry sectors including food and drink, aerospace and defence, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and automotive. My experience in the facilities management arena has given me a thorough understanding of the unique challenges faced across industry and I plan to apply this knowledge to help achieve the overall aims of the Group”.

Alan Lusty, CEO of adi Group comments: “This year we have gone from strength to strength with our pledge to create 500 new jobs by 2020, as well as our leadership team’s acknowledgement in The Manufacturer’s MX awards. As we continue to drive growth and account development within the Group it is essential that additional investments are made to leverage our unique position. Lee’s appointment will ensure we sustain this level of growth while continuing to provide the same high-quality service to clients.”

Founded as a single business offering in 1990, adi Group has quadrupled in size since 2005, and today boasts a turnover of £80milion and over 500 employees. For more information, visit www.adiltd.co.uk.
