Intelliconnect's RF and waterproof connectors at ElectronicaIntelliconnect (Europe) Ltd will be at Electronica 2018 sharing Booth 510 in Hall C3 with its newly signed distributor for Germany, Nucletron Technologies. Established for over 60 years, Nucletron is a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components and systems for the RF, microwave, EMC and electromechancal markets.

Intelliconnect will be exhibiting their award-winning 2.9mm solderless RF connectors which are an integral part of their growing cryogenic cable assembly business CryoCoax in addition to their UK-designed and manufactured range of RF and microwave and waterproof connectors and cable assemblies.

Intelliconnect is the largest UK-based manufacturer of RF and waterproof connectors suitable for applications including wearable technology, medical, telecoms, satcoms, military, aerospace, space, general microwave communications, rail traction, oil and gas and marine. Intelliconnect also manufacture the Pisces range of waterproof RF connectors, coaxial adaptors to facilitate inter-series connection and gender change, etc., dust-caps and offer value-added services.

Intelliconnect’s cable division are specialist manufacturers of affordable, high-quality, high-frequency microwave cables including triaxial assemblies, semi-rigid, semi-flexible and cryogenic cables as well as standard RG/LMR type products. Cables can be waterproofed to IP68 and include special features including phase matching and ruggedised assemblies for use in harsh environments.

Roy Phillips, Managing Director of Intelliconnect comments: “Our presence at Electronica comes at the end of a year in which our UK sales have doubled to over £3M as well as achieving more than ten per cent growth in the USA. We have invested in new product development and test equipment and the launch of our cryogenic cable assembly range has been very successful.”

The continuing sales growth has meant that Intelliconnect is relocating its sales, engineering and production facilities to larger premises. Increased customer support will be available from its larger design and sales office in Chelmsford, and the Corby-based manufacturing facility is relocating to the Corby Innovation Hub, providing 50 per cent more manufacturing space. Intelliconnect is also recruiting at all levels in the UK and USA, including looking for apprentices.
