I recently met John Renard, the President of Cyient for the EMEA region. Cyient started as a contract CAD resource and software developer but has evolved and expanded so it now employs over 12,000 people globally, providing engineering services to blue-chip companies in a variety of market sectors. As expected, I found out more about these engineering services and how they can benefit machine builders, but John also wanted to tell me about a new direction his company is taking.

In response to demand from its customers, Cyient is moving into 'product realisation' and, in particular, is eager to meet innovative UK machine builders who can collaborate with Cyient on new manufacturing processes the company has developed.

A third topic we discussed is the ways in which Cyient can help machine builders when they are bidding for new projects.

Read my interview with John Renard of Cyient and find out more about the resources and opportunities available for machine builders.
