Last month the UK Government published a series of technical notices to help businesses prepare for the possibility of a no-deal Brexit. Not all of these technical notices are relevant to machine builders, and there are others that are still being prepared. To help businesses interpret and understand the Brexit technical notices that have been published so far, EEF, the manufacturers' organisation, has launched a telephone hotline, with Brexit experts on hand to provide one-to-one advice. In addition, EEF is publishing its own summaries of the official technical notices.

This newsletter is our biggest ever, so please take a minute to scroll all the way through. We are covering a broad spectrum of topics, from seminars, machine safety and smart factories, through to data acquisition, vision systems and precision motion.
