A 'Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/436' of 18 March 2019 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) on 19 March, relating to harmonised standards for the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. This is the way changes to the standards are being presented in the OJ from now on: there is a complete list of harmonised standards in Annex I, a further list in Annex II of harmonised standards that are published in the OJ 'with a restriction' and a list in Annex III of standards that are being withdrawn.

While this makes it easy to see what is being withdrawn (and there are two B-Type standards that have been withdrawn) it is harder to see what has been added. Follow the link to find out more about the latest list of Machinery Directive harmonised standards .
