4CM Ltd has been appointed as a Commercial Partner to the Commonwealth Trade Initiative. The Commonwealth Trade Initiative has been established by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council to promote international trade and investment between Commonwealth members, and between Commonwealth and non-Commonwealth countries around the world.
The Commonwealth Trade Initiative comprises a business platform, representing the key business functions and disciplines that support international trade and commerce. These include investment, legal, HR, IT, logistics, sales and marketing. 4CM has been appointed as one of the Commercial Partners to provide marketing advice, guidance and practical assistance to the manufacturing and industrial businesses included within the membership of the Commonwealth Trade Initiative.
Nick Brooks, Managing Director of 4CM, is delighted with the new alliance: "We've worked with industrial companies for over 30 years, helping UK manufacturers penetrate export markets, and overseas companies sell to businesses in the British Isles. Being appointed as a strategic Commercial Partner to the Commonwealth Trade Initiative is a continuation of these activities and represents an exciting opportunity to join a new and dynamic programme that will help companies throughout the Commonwealth grow and prosper on the global stag".
Oliver Everett, CEO of the CWEIC, adds: "The Commonwealth presents an enormous growth opportunity for global businesses looking to expand into new markets and the launch of this new initiative could not come at a better time. The engagement we're seeing already prior to its launch, demonstrates clearly the extent to which global businesses can see the value of the Commonwealth markets as an important growth engine.
"The Commonwealth offers a unique forum for developed and emerging market economies to collaborate and integrate through increasing trade and investment. The Commonwealth Trade Initiative will help unlock a new frontier of trade opportunities."
