In March 1999, machines started being equipped with SafetyBUS p and at the same time the SafetyBUS p Club International e. V. in Esslingen am Neckar was founded. Today, SafetyBUS p is acknowledged as a worldwide communication standard for safety-oriented automation and has over 250,000 real field bus nodes installed.

Apart from the technical and economical advantages, the reasons for its success have been the openness and system independence of SafetyBUS p, compared with relay-based technology. The SafetyBUS p Club has become an international operating organisation with more than 80 member companies. Safety Network International secures quality and innovation. The next generation of Ethernet-based communication on a SafetyNET p basis offers future-proof automation concepts for manufacturer and end user.

The company claims that the application of innovative and safe automation technology will continue to proceed further in 2009 in spite of the difficult economical frame parameter (not least because of the new machine standards coming into effect). Safety Network International eV would like to invite you to join it in being a part of this safe automation success story. Play an active part in the further development of safety technology and become a member of this strong community.
