8.5inch TFT display is offered with optional touch control
Trident is now supplying Toshiba's 8.5inch TFT LCD display. This new wide-screen display is available with or without touch capability, and its versatility enables it to be used in a range of applications such as mobile, computing, medical or industrial.
The LTA085C185F provides customers with WVGA 800 x 480 resolution and a wide viewing angle of 120 degrees horizontally and 100 degrees vertically, making it suitable for viewing clear and vibrant images. The display features a brightness of 270cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 450:1.
It offers a wide operating temperature range between -20 and +70degC and the module outline dimensions are a compact 224 (W) x 135 (H) x 11.5mm (D). The LTA085C184F is available with an optional integrated four-wire resistive touch screen.
This display features polysilicon technology, is RoHS-compliant and Toshiba is guaranteeing to support it for at least three years in order to satisfy customers' long-term product planning requirements.
