Absolute pressure transducers boast enhanced performance
HBM's P3 Top Class series of absolute pressure transducers is said to give increased accuracy and significantly enhanced temperature behaviour for applications that demand extremely high process safety.
The transducers are available in a six-wire configuration and the integrated PT 100 resistance thermometer can be used for external compensation while additional sensor leads acquire temperature values. Both configurations eliminate accuracy losses that may result from long cables.
Each transducer is supplied with a two-page test report that includes individually documented values, for example, for the relative deviation from the fitting curve. The test report enables corrections to be made in the amplifier, hence the accuracy of the measurement chain can be increased.
The P3 Top Class transducers are supplied with integrated TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) for immediate transducer identification. This ensures additional time savings and increased reliability of data acquisition.
