ACOPOSinverter P84 with integrated Ethernet Powerlink interface
For complex machines and systems, B&R offers the ACOPOSinverter P84 frequency inverter that features an integrated Ethernet Powerlink (EPL) interface and power ratings of 0.37kW to 500kW. The P84 has a selection of onboard digital and analogue I/O channels to control a wide range of technology functions. An integrated Powerlink hub is said to simplify bus cabling significantly. In addition, an optional encoder interface can be used for applications where there are strict requirements for speed or torque control. This helps the inverter to fit within the B&R Motion concept and enables movements to be synchronized with servo drives.
Thanks to the integrated B&R Automation Studio environment, no other software tools are needed. The Motion Wizard assists users integrating the P84 within projects, and handles the most important basic settings - which takes much of the guesswork out of commissioning. The System Diagnostics Manager makes it possible to perform full diagnostics or read the status of the machine - even over the Internet.
