Air booster and receiver range improved and expanded
For applications requiring a higher air pressure than the normal factory supply, an air booster and receiver (tank) is often the answer. Until now, SMC Pneumatics' customers have had the option of purchasing the series EVBA200 or EVBA400 air booster regulators. Now, following the success of these products, SMC is launching the improved and expanded VBA/VBAT series air booster and receiver range.
Replacing the previous booster regulator range, the VBA/VBAT series comprises four model options to suit different performance requirements, namely the VBA20A, VBA40A, VBA22A and VBA42A, which all offer extended service life and excellent low-noise performance.
Typical applications include those where space is insufficient for a larger-bore cylinder, where machines need to be upgraded to boost performance, where there is a need to compensate for a drop in line pressure, and where electrical systems cannot be used due to a lack of an electricity supply. Boosters are also useful in combustible environments where pressure needs to be raised.
To complement these products, SMC is also introducing a comprehensive range of CE-compliant air receivers (tanks), known as the series VBAT range.
