All-new Machinery Safety and Compliance training course
Astute Machinery Consultants and the National Fluid Power Centre are collaborating to provide a new Machinery Safety and Compliance training package.
Starting in late April 2019 it covers all of the key aspects of machinery safety and compliance from CE marking, to the PUWER assessment of machinery and all things in between such as the applicable directives, legislation, regulations and standards for machinery, including electrical control systems to IEC 60204-1, safety-related control systems, guarding to EN ISO 14120, guard interlocking to EN ISO 14119, guarding reach distances EN ISO 13857, and all the other key standards such as light curtain selection and positioning to EN ISO 13855 to help build, operate and maintain safe and compliant machinery.
The main course body is in four individual one-day modules, with an option of a written examination at the end certificated by the NFPC; a further fifth module on the PUWER assessment of machinery is also available, although this is not part of the final examination.
