All set to meet demands of modern LSR processing

The LSR eTwin Connect is billed as a new generation of dosing and mixing systems for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) from Wagner Reinhardt-Technik. It is available through Eurobond Adhesives, the company’s UK distributors.

Working in close cooperation with its injection mould machine manufacturers, LSR processors and material manufacturers, Wagner Reinhardt-Technik has developed a machine that meets the demands of modern LSR processing and is ready for ‘Industry 4.0’.

“It offers consistently high productivity and quality at both low and high shot weights,” says the company. “The LSR eTwin Connect enables high efficiency, the perfect mix ratio and up to 99.75% material utilisation.” The machine is available in both tandem and single unit configurations.

Dismantle with just one tool

Combining two dosing systems enables production to continue uninterrupted. The re-design of the ‘processing unit’ was a major focus, making it “extremely maintenance friendly” and able to be dismantled using just one tool, adds Wagner Reinhardt-Technik.

Also, the operator can connect up to four additive dosing valves, which again can be assembled or stripped down without the need for tools, it is stated.
