Andy Parker-Bates is Festo Product Marketing Manager-Pneumatics
Festo has appointed Andy Parker-Bates as new Product Marketing Manager - Pneumatics. Festo is committed to expanding its factory automation portfolio and helping customers in this sector to maximise their productivity. In his new role, Andy will be responsible for introducing the many new and exciting pneumatic products Festo is bringing to market and managing the existing, extensive product portfolio.
Andy's appointment follows Festo's recent increased investment in core pneumatic products for factory automation. He will be working with pilot customers and the UK sales team on new product introductions, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation in pneumatics.
With over 25 years' experience in the industry Andy brings a wealth of knowledge to Festo, having previously worked at Parker Hannifin and Schneider Electric. His whole career has been in and around Industrial Automation, first as an Engineer, then a Programme Manager and latterly as a Marketeer.
Andy says: "With a broad background covering electrical control engineering, electromechanical motion, pneumatics and hydraulics I am well placed to bring an understanding of not only how automation technologies can help address the challenges faced by industry today, but also how it can help provide our customers with a competitive edge for the future."
