Atlas Copco to exhibit energy efficient range at EMEX 2016
Atlas Copco Compressors will showcase its range of energy efficient compressors, vacuum pumps and energy assessment services at the Energy Management Exhibition (EMEX) taking place in London (Excel) from 16th to 17th November.
One of the highlights on stand E15 will be the GA VSD+ compressor, which offers average energy savings of 50 per cent, as well as having a very small footprint and low noise levels. The GA VSD+ compressor range is available from 7 up to 75kW. A VSD compressor automatically adjusts its motor and element speed to the air demand, considerably cutting energy use and costs. This range also improves the Free Air Delivery (FAD) and Specific Energy Requirement (SER) by up to 9 per cent. This means customers get up to 9 per cent more air while using the same energy with the GA VSD+ compared with the GA VSD.
Alongside the GA VSD+, Atlas Copco will display its GHS VSD+ vacuum pump, which also offers average energy savings of 50 per cent. The GHS VSD+ range, which was recently extended to include new models offering power of up to 1900 m3/h, incorporates state-of-the-art VSD technology that enables users to precisely adapt their vacuum generation requirements to match the demands of their process. Coupled with an innovative motor design and inlet control valve, the range sets new standards for energy efficiency in rough vacuum pumps, leading to a dramatic reduction in total cost of ownership.
In addition, visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to see the quiet operation of Atlas Copco's GA7 VSD+ FF: a full feature air compressor with variable speed drive. Attendees can also learn more about free energy audits, comprehensive AirScan services, energy recovery options, as well as AIRnet pipework.
