Automated identification of entire terminal strips in a single process step

Time savings of up to 70 percent can be achieved with the Thermomark E.Vario thermal transfer roll printer from Phoenix Contact. The applicator is part of the new Thermomark E series. The modular system combines a powerful thermal transfer roll printer with four different applicators.

Automated identification of entire terminal strips in a single process step

The printer marks entire terminal strips with just two materials in continuous format for tall and flat marking grooves. At the same time, the continuous material is individually tailored to the appropriate pitch. All widths between 3.5 and 1,000 mm can be realised, regardless of the number of different pitches. The perforations are assigned automatically based on the data from the engineering software.

Thanks to the automated process, the new system offers easy handling and ensures the consistently high quality of terminal strip markings.
