The new Ball-Bearing Hinge 8 40x40 from Item is a fastening element for profiles that allows the attached profile to pivot through 180 degrees. It is available now through Machine Building Systems.

Ball bearing hinge is easy way to add a low-friction pivot

Dual ball bearings and die-cast zinc housings are said to guarantee high strength and low wear in continuous operation. Maximum tensile load on the bearing is 2500N.

To secure the Ball-Bearing Hinge to either profile grooves or the core bore, a 5mm hex key is inserted through the holes provided in the bearing block. There is no need to disassemble the hinge to attach it to the adjoining structure.
