Bayonet and nozzle thermocouples offer fast response
Labfacility is offering a range of stock thermocouples for use with plastics machinery and general-purpose applications. Type J or K thermocouples are housed in a stainless steel tip and are 'grounded' to provide a quick response to temperature changes.
The adjustable bayonet fitting thermocouples are available with a 4.5mm or 6.0mm diameter tip and a 170mm long flexible spring. The fixing cap is adjustable on the spring to allow the insertion depth to be varied to suit the process.
Nozzle thermocouples are housed in M6 x 1mm threaded bolts with a free-running nut to allow the immersion depth to be adjusted.
Both assemblies are supplied with 2m of silicone varnished, glass-fibre insulated extension lead, 7/0.2mm conductors and stainless steel overbraid.
The temperature rating is 350degC in both cases, and they are available from stock from Labfacility.
