Beamex supplies validated calibration system to Astellas

Astellas Ireland Co Limited first started to use Beamex calibration management software in 1996 and later, in 2000, the company also started using Beamex MC5 multifunction calibrators. Now the software has been upgraded to CMX calibration management software (CMX for Server). The installation was prepared and validated by Beamex Limited.

All installation activities and CMX tests were documented through the IQ, OQ and PQ tests. These tests are designed to challenge CMX functions under day-to-day conditions and stress conditions. In total, over 50 different kinds of test were performed. In every case, CMX performed as predicted, with no deviations recorded.

CMX will be used for tracking, scheduling and calibrating critical instruments on the plant as part of the need to comply with GAMP4.
