Become a certified thermographer with ITC

For anyone wishing to incorporate the wide-ranging benefits of thermal imaging into their working lives, the 4-day Level 1 Thermography course from ITC provides an excellent foundation. It covers the basic science behind the technology and operation of a thermal imaging camera under various conditions and for different purposes. It also guides participants on how to interpret results and avoid common errors.

This is a popular, general introduction to thermal imaging that expands on its growing importance in the fields of electrical and mechanical maintenance, building, medical science and research & development. The course combines essential theory with practical application and, on its completion, students can choose to sit either the ITC certification test or the corresponding British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing certification exam.

The ITC Level 1 course programme for the first half of 2014 has now been confirmed and is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of thermal imaging regardless of the brand of camera they choose to use. This course and indeed others run by the ITC are also recognised for Government skills funding; anyone interested in this option should visit the Department of Work and Pensions website.
