Board-to-board power connectors are rated to 7.9A
Texim Europe is introducing GradConn's two new ranges of board-to-board power connectors that are rated to 7.9A. They are available as single in-line variants in 3.96mm 2-24 contacts and 5.08mm 2-20 contacts.
The range is fully RoHS compliant and insulators are LCP (liquid crystal polymer) capable of withstanding high temperatures during reflow soldering. Various packaging options are available including tape and reel (for SMT) versions, and there is an option of an additional plastic cap to aid the vacuum pick and place process.
Pin headers are available through-hole in straight and right-angle orientations; straight female sockets are available in both through-hole (5.08mm only) and surface-mount configurations.
Sockets feature a reliable dual-contact design; the SMT socket is suitable for dual entry (from either top or bottom).
