B&R opens technical office in Berlin
On 1 December 2007, B&R will open its seventh technical office in Germany. TO north-east is in Berlin and will be managed by Frank Mochow, who is experienced in designing and implementing automation. Previously he was responsible for sales of automation components and systems for another well-known manufacturer. TO north-east serves Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt.
In the Adlershof technology centre in south-east Berlin, a complete infrastructure is available for B&R customers. This includes a training centre for automation products and a skilled application team that provides support for users of B&R automation technology.
With the opening of the 14th sales office in Germany, B&R continues its strategy of providing a strong local presence. A total of 130 employees are now working Germany.
