Brian Rice appointed Distributor Channel Manager
Brian Rice has been appointed Distributor Channel Manager for Parker Instrumentation, the supplier of tube fittings, valves and manifolds to the oil, gas, petrochemical, processing and utility markets. He brings detailed industry understanding and wide experience of international sales and marketing to the role, plus the knowledge and skills gained as a member of the company's pioneering product innovation team.
Working out of the company's headquarters in Barnstaple, UK, Brian has a remit that spans Parker Instrumentation's Distributor operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. He will also work closely alongside the company's local offices and project teams to preserve the highly complementary operations that have delivered sustained growth for Parker over the past decade.
Brian Rice comments: "Customers look to our distributors for a highly responsive service, as well as for great products. A key goal is to ensure that the feedback loop from our customers to the heart of our design, manufacturing and supply chain operations is kept as short and efficient as possible."

Brian Rice joined Parker Instrumentation in 2000, when the company acquired Ives Valves; prior to that he had worked for Heap & Partners, Spirax Sarco, and Valtek.
