British chain company is first in UK with ISO 9001:2015
Renold Chain has achieved the quality assurance accreditation ISO 9001:2015, and says it is proud to be the first chain manufacturer in the UK to achieve the certification.
ISO 9001:2015 is the highest accreditation of quality management systems. This includes manufacturing, product, providing value for money, skills, training, a managed culture of continual improvement and on-time deliveries.
The audit was conducted at Renold's Service Centre in Bredbury, Stockport, one of the largest facilities of its type in the UK, where conveyor chain and attachment chain is produced to exact customer specifications. ISO 9001:2015 is the latest update to the original ISO 9001 quality standard that the site initially achieved in 1994.
Alec Annand, Operations Manager of Renold's Service Centre, says: "This latest accreditation affirms that the very highest levels of quality management are in place across our business processes to ensure that we consistently exceed our customers' expectations. It further demonstrates our ability to meet our customers' exacting requirements by providing quality solutions delivered on time and to the highest quality levels."
