Broad range of Verderflex Autoclude peristaltic pumps

Verderflex Autoclude's OEM range of peristaltic pumps now accounts for 78 per cent of the company's sales turnover and, given the many features and benefits of these products, it is easy to understand why. They are available in a choice of styles from highly compact to large and robust for arduous applications, with wide-ranging motor, tube and flow rate options. As a result, these pumps are specified for diverse applications from precise dosing of surgical instrument disinfectant to the dispensing of heavy-duty printing ink.

Broad range of Verderflex Autoclude peristaltic pumps

Autoclude's OEM pump is based on a patented, seal-less design that ensures only the tube comes into contact with the fluid. This is important, as it limits the possibility of contamination and controls chemical compatibility problems. The simplicity of this design makes tube replacement easy and quick. Maintenance is also minimised by means of the pump's ability to run without any additional lubrication.

With no internal backflow, the Autoclude OEM pump ensures accurate dosing without slip, providing repeatability of typically +/-0.5 per cent and metering capability of +/-2 per cent. Its gentle pumping action allows it to be used even for shear-sensitive solids and liquids that can be damaged or altered by the action of other pumps. As the pump is capable of self-priming, it can also handle products that are likely to contain air or gas.

Another benefit is the product's high suction capability. This allows the Autoclude pump to lift a liquid such as water by as much as 8.5m, giving flexibility in system design.

New OEM model

New to the OEM range is the easy tube-loading stackable peristaltic pump (pictured), suitable for multi-channel pumping, sampling, analysis and other laboratory research applications. Its components are made from acetal, polyamide and stainless steel, and it is designed for simple and trouble-free use, providing flow rates from a few millilitres up to 1.3l/min.

A key feature is quick and easy tube changing - a procedure that requires no screws or tools. Continuous tubing in sizes from 1.6mm to 8mm bore is available in a choice of materials including Verderprene, silicone, Viton and Tygon.
