BSI provides free access to standards for COVID-19 response

BSI, the UK's national standards body, has assessed how it can support the UK Government, businesses and, ultimately, the UK population through the COVID-19 crisis.

BSI provides free access to standards for COVID-19 response

After careful consideration of its portfolio, BSI has selected the most relevant standards to meet the immediate challenges faced by Government and UK business, and is providing open access to these during this time of global emergency.

A number of standards have therefore been made accessible to help support manufacturers producing medical equipment in short supply and to help UK organisations navigate the current period of instability.

Standards from six areas are now available to access for free:

  • Ventilators
  • Hygiene
  • PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Risk management and business continuity
  • AAMI (Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation) standards
  • ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards

Follow the link to find out more about the open access standards.
