Busbar supports handle three or six bars per pole
Ter-mate is launching two new busbar insulator products. The RMS3-10 is a 10mm rail mount support that enables three bars per pole to be supported; the 5mm RMSS6-5 enables up to six bars to be fitted per pole. They were designed initially for the Middle East market.
Ter-Mate provides a range of busbar insulators for various switchboard applications including three- and four-pole versions for 5mm and 10mm thick busbars. Ter-Mate busbar insulators are simple to install and connect to air circuit breakers produced by manufacturers such as ABB and Siemens. The busbar insulators are manufactured from UL94V0-approved high-quality black glass-reinforced polyamide 66 with zero halogen content and are able to operate in temperatures up to 130degC and 1000V.
