Cable markers now available from Anixter Components
Anixter Components is adding cable markers and accessories to its 2008/2009 catalogue. The cable markers are ready-marked, single-character flexible sleeves that can be combined to produce the required legend. The installer assembles the combinations required on site, using markers specifically designed for use with wires, cables, pipes, hoses and components. A wide variety of packaging types and accessories are available to simplify the marking process, including cassette dispensers, carrier strips, kit boxes and applicators.
Covering wire sizes from 1.0-7.0mm in diameter across four popular marker styles, the range is produced from cadmium- and silicone-free soft PVC that meets the requirements of UL94V-0 flammability rating and retains a consistent shape in temperatures ranging from -30degC to +70degC.
Proven in the field many times over, the markers combine low cost, easy application and the ability to make up any ident, anywhere, any time. Their high-quality manufacture provides excellent legibility, consistent appearance and long service life.
