Carlo Gavazzi brings new focus to switch products

Carlo Gavazzi UK has appointed Josef Grech as a business development manager for switch products to help meet the demands of the renewable and HVAC markets.

Josef has seamlessly transferred his experience and knowledge from the European market to the UK as he was previously based at Carlo Gavazzi’s plant for development and manufacturing in Malta. Josef will spearhead the pursuit of the many new opportunities that exist, working closely with OEMs and distribution to ensure a positive engagement with our products and customers.

Will Darby, managing director of Carlo Gavazzi UK, commented: “Josef’s experience is welcomed to the UK organisation, and I know he will lead the business development of Switch products to new heights throughout the UK.”

Josef gained a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as well as an M.Sc. in Biomedical Cybernetics from the University of Malta and joined Carlo Gavazzi Automation after a few years working in the engineering field.

Commenting on his new position, he said: “I am confident that there is considerable growth to be gained within the renewable and HVAC markets as Britain weans itself off expensive fossil fuels in favour of cleaner, greener solutions which will have huge environmental benefits.”
