KEB secures long-term agreement with ASEM

KEB has secured a long-term product and technology supply agreement with its historic partner for control technology, ASEM S.p.A., Italian provider of digital automation technologies. KEB's new arrangement also allows KEB to broaden its strategic collaboration with global industrial automation and digital transformation leader Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK). Rockwell has signed an agreement to acquire ASEM, including KEB's minority stake in the company.

Engineers can now get their hands on norelem's latest iteration of its iconic engineering catalogue, known as The Big Green Book, which contains over 60,000 components - in contrast, the 2017 issue had "˜just' 33,000 components and the 2019 issue had 45,000.

New online training module for vibrating screens

A new online training module has been introduced to the increasingly popular NSK academy online platform. The latest module, which focuses on vibrating screens, will appeal to all involved in specifying bearings to withstand the harsh working environments found in mining, quarrying and construction applications. MTC installs Trumpf TruPrint 3000 metal AM system

A TruPrint 3000 metal additive manufacturing (AM) system from Trumpf has been acquired by the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). Installed within the MTC's National Centre of Additive Manufacturing (NCAM), this advanced machine, which is based on laser metal fusion (LMF) technology, forms a key part of the NCAM capability.

The relationship was sealed at Siemens UK's headquarters in Manchester.
