NSK appoints Rubix Haarlem as Certified AIP Service Branch

Netherlands-based Rubix Haarlem, a specialist provider of more than 400,000 MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) products to industrial and maintenance customers from all sectors, has become an NSK Certified AIP Service Branch. An intensive qualification process was concluded with a series of end user visits by teams from both NSK and Rubix Haarlem.

The 2020 UKIVA Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition will take place on 14 May 2020 at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, UK. Siemens acquires Atlas 3D to expand AM portfolio

Siemens has signed an agreement to acquire Atlas 3D, Inc., a Plymouth, Indiana-based developer of software that works with direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) printers to automatically provide design engineers with the optimal print orientation and requisite support structures for additive parts in near real-time. Atlas 3D will join Siemens Digital Industries Software, where its solutions will expand additive manufacturing capabilities in the Xcelerator portfolio of software.

Thousands more Festo products for factory automation at RS

RS Components has expanded its range of products from factory automation manufacturer Festo to include over 17,000 individual items (expanded range currently only available to customers in Benelux, France, Germany, Italy and the UK). The new introductions span all of Festo's most popular pneumatic and electrical device families, including cylinders, actuators, valves and pneumatic air preparation products.
