EcoVadis awards Harting with Gold status for CSR

Rating agency EcoVadis has awarded Gold Status to Harting Technology Group in recognition of the company's ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. This marks the third time the company has been distinguished with the award by EcoVadis and places Harting in the five per cent of top performers in its industry.

NSK opens training centres and announces new course programme

NSK has announced a new training programme designed to help bearing users learn ways of maximising machine reliability and profitability by improving their skills and knowledge in this important technology area. In tandem, NSK has opened the first two dedicated training centres for delivery of the courses, although the content can also be offered at the customer site if preferred. The new training programme includes a large variety of well-proven courses that focus on the major learning needs of those involved in specifying, using and maintaining bearings.

Advantech hosts first IoT Co-Creation Summit

Advantech held its first IoT Co-Creation Summit at Suzhou International Expo Center. During the summit, Advantech introduced new features for WISE-PaaS 3.0 and shared a number of IoT solution ready packages (SRPs), based on WISE-PaaS, developed with numerous co-creation partners. The company also outlined future co-creation strategies and schedules for the upcoming year.

Exploring the potential of multi-laser AM at Formnext

BS EN 60204-1:2018, new edition of machinery safety standard

BSI has published BS EN 60204-1:2018, Safety of machinery. Electrical equipment of machines. General requirements, which is the UK equivalent of the international standard IEC 60204-1:2016. As stated in the new edition, BS EN 60204-1:2018 supersedes BS EN 60204-1:2006+A1:2009, which is withdrawn.

Established for over 60 years, Nucletron is a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components and systems for the RF, microwave, EMC and electromechancal markets.
