Run by a highly qualified local team, the facility has been specifically established to serve the Irish market and will be dedicated to meeting the increasing needs of local customers.

Gardasoft to unveil new lighting controller at VISION

Gardasoft will be in Hall 1, Stand 1E53, to unveil new lighting controller at VISION, which takes place at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, from 6-8 November 2018. In addition to the announcement of the lighting controller, Gardasoft Vision will be presenting a number of new demonstrations to illustrate the power of machine vision sequencing and control technologies. These will cover computational imaging, ultrafast focusing, OEM controllers and multi-light line scan stations. The new lighting controller will open up new illumination possibilities that will further contribute towards novel machine vision products.

Renishaw engineering open house attracts 500 visitors

On 3rd August 2018, Renishaw hosted 500 young people and their parents at its Gloucestershire headquarters for an open house. Initiated by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the open house events took place at engineering businesses across the country to open the eyes of young people aged 7 to 21 to the opportunities available in engineering.

For more than 80 years, Sandvik Welding Consumables has been a world-leading developer and manufacturer of advanced stainless steels and nickel filler metals for demanding environments. To broaden and enhance its portfolio of specialty alloys, ESAB Welding & Cutting Products acquired the Sandvik welding consumables business, finalising the transaction earlier this year. Beginning November 1, these products will go to market under the name Exaton, an ESAB brand. As part of the brand update, the following changes will occur:
