Mouser Electronics signs global agreement with Helium

Mouser Electronics is announcing a global distribution agreement with Helium, a provider of simple, secure, scalable Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity. Helium reduces total IoT costs of operations through easy-to-deploy, low-cost hardware that offers scalability and security. The Helium product line, available from Mouser Electronics, features Atom Modules, starter kits, and adapters plus Element Access Points.

igus expands UK headquarters to boost engineering services

igus has invested a six-figure sum to expand its UK operation, almost doubling its engineering support facility from 672m2 to 1000m2. A new upper floor accommodates a growing sales and technical support team, while ground-floor space has been released so the engineering team can meet demand for fully-assembled products. The expansion comes just a year after the company celebrated its 25th anniversary in the UK.

PPMA Show demonstrates strength of UK manufacturing industry

Once again, the PPMA Show highlighted why it's the UK's unmissable event for processing and packaging machinery, when it returned to Birmingham's NEC between 26 and 28 September. The 10,000sqm exhibition brought together 350 international exhibitors representing 1500 brands under one roof, where 7500 visitors - from the sectors of food, drinks, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and FMCG - plus over 3500 visitors from the co-located shows Interplas 2017, TCT Show 2017, Sensors and Instrumentation, descended on the show to seek out innovations and discuss the industry's hot topics.

Nord Drivesystems at CBST 2017 in China

Mitsubishi highlights production increases at PPMA 2017

Mitsubishi Electric enjoyed a highly successful PPMA show, demonstrating the benefits of advanced automation systems for packaging machinery. Taking centre stage visually was a Proseal GT0 automatic in-line tray sealing machine, equipped with high-speed heat sealing technology, touch screen HMIs, PLCs, drives, servo control and robot handling.
