A spring steel spine on a P section gasket is a simple, effective way to provide an excellent gasket function for enclosure and vehicle doors. To date this has been achieved with an EPDM bubble sealing profile attached to a PVC spring carrier; however, now EMKA have developed an integral section which combines both in one EPDM moulding.

New expansion modules for Parker's IQAN family

Parker Hannifin is releasing new expansion modules for its IQAN family. Four versions of the high-performance modules are available for use in different ways to meet the requirements of any hydraulic mobile machine, making it easy to expand an IQAN control system when connected to an IQAN-MC4x master controller. Communication between the master and expansion module is performed via the proprietary IQAN protocol and can run as classic CAN or CAN-FD (CAN with Flexible Data-Rate). The modules are designed for quick-and-easy set-up with minimal configuration requirements.

Plug-in test system for 19inch module carriers

Phoenix Contact's modular 19" plug-in test system FAME 3 rack does not require an operating plug as it works according to the N/C contact principle. The system combines complex switching operations for function tests of current transformers and voltage transducers, as well as tripping and signal contacts, in just one compact and space-saving block. This saves time for the user.
