The new EMKA 1007 program concealed gear hinge - often referred to as SOSS type - is a hidden 180 degree-opening unit mounted within the width thickness of the doors with a minimum dimension of 33mm. Proportional solenoid valve with load-sense check control

Eaton is announcing the new ESVL9 screw-in cartridge valve (SiCV), a five-way, three-position proportional solenoid valve. Featuring a patent-pending, integrated load-sense check control, the product provides a 21 per cent manifold size reduction compared with the external checks available with many five-ported directional control valves on the market today.

Pickering Interfaces is launching a new range of high-density, two-pole PXI switching matrices that offer higher performance than competing products. Series 40-580 (32×8) and 40-583 (64×4) matrices are supported by both of Pickering's relay test tools (BIRST and eBIRST), delivering sophisticated and thorough diagnostics for any relays that are approaching end-of-life or have been damaged by over-specification hot-switching events.

Micro-Epsilon launches the world's smallest draw-wire sensor

Micro-Epsilon is launching the wireSENSOR MT series of robust miniature draw-wire sensors (cable transducers) for displacement, movement and position measurements. The sensors stand out due to their ultra-compact design relative to their measuring ranges (from 40mm up to 130mm), and the company claims these are the world's smallest draw-wire (string pot) sensors and the most robust.

The new UDA18 ATEX ultrasonic sensor is part of the new range of ultrasonic sensors from elobau and also complements the existing range of ATEX products. Like the other sensors in elobau's ultrasonic range, it is precise, versatile and reliable, but has also been specially designed for use in explosive atmospheres up to and including zone 2 (gas) and zone 22 (dust).

Compact torque limiters protect critical equipment

Protection from potential damage to a mechanical system caused by torque overload can be critical in some applications. Often torque is monitored by means of a closed-loop servo control system, but some applications require a simpler mechanical method. Offering two types of innovative overload protection device, the Torque Tender devices from Abssac reliably detect overloads and isolate the input and output by removing and disconnecting the drive at a set torque figure.

Smart IR thermal imaging cameras for Industry 4.0 applications
