Monitor door pairs with one safety switch and two actuators

Mechan Controls is promoting its HED safety switch that monitors two adjacent doors with a single switch and a coded magnetic actuator on each door. This saves on installation time, cabling, parts count and purchase costs - one HED switch costs around half the price of two separate switches. The non-contact actuators can approach the switch from most angles, with the switching distance being 7mm. Safety-related specifications are PL e, Category 4 and SIL 3.

New E-stop switches are ultra-compact, robust and reliable

EAO Ltd is introducing a new family of emergency stop (E-Stop) and stop switches particularly suitable for use in handheld and compact control applications where outstanding mechanical, electrical and environmental performance has to go hand-in-hand with severely restricted panel depth. Threaded fasteners in thin-walled sections

Challenge Europe is promoting its ex-stock rivet nuts and rivet bushes, which make useful fixing options by providing female threads in thin-walled sections. Sheet materials are commonly difficult to integrate with more rugged bulky components since provision of solid fixing in thin sheet is often a problem; however, it is a problem easily resolved with rivet nuts which compress onto the sheet, or by rivet bushes which are pressed into it.

TDK Corporation is introducing the GXE600 series of 600W rated AC-DC power supplies, certified to the IEC 60601-1 medical safety standard as well as IEC 62368-1.
