New stepper motor controller from Inmoco

Inmoco is making available a new motor control integrated circuit that provides ultra-smooth, quiet motor operation, with advanced current control and safety features specifically for stepper motors. The latest addition to the Juno Velocity and Torque IC family from Performance Motion Devices, Inc. (PMD Corp.), the new Step Motor Control ICs offer higher PWM frequencies for smoother, more dynamic operation, in a 56-pin VQFN package measuring just 7.2mm × 7.2mm.

Dunkermotoren's compact linear motor with double peak force

With the SA / SC 38 series, Dunkermotoren is presenting a completely new modular concept for tubular linear direct drives. The highly dynamic three-phase linear motors deliver up to 3690N and accelerate at over 200m/s ². The modular design is currently available as actuator version SA (with maintenance-free plain bearing system) and component version SC (for modules). If the linear motor should sweat during its efforts, the standard water connection ensures cooling and doubling of the continuous force.

Self-programmed camera functions meet GenICam standard

When users want to execute self-created functions on intelligent cameras, they face two challenges: on the one hand, they often only have access via proprietary interfaces, which makes it more difficult to process data in third-party applications; on the other hand, only few models offer a high-speed data interface such as GigE Vision. However, industrial applications often require both. IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH therefore combines standard vision industrial cameras with the vision app-based IDS NXT concept. Thanks to a "Smart GenICam App", data generated by customer-specific programming can be used in exactly the same way as if they were part of the manufacturer-independent standard functional scope of the industrial camera.
