CEN searchable database of European standards
CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, has created a portal where users can search the organisation's database of standards - see esearch.cen.eu.
Users can search by entering keywords or standard reference numbers. Various drop-down menus enable the search to be narrowed, and there is an option to search for published standards or standards under development. The portal can be operated in English, French or German.
When the results are returned there is a link to a page on the CEN website containing more information about the standard. In addition, users can see at a glance if the standard has been cited in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ) with respect to any Directive.
