Clamps hold Aston Villa's name in place

Lindapter's CF high-friction clamps have been used to fix the large letters spelling out Aston Villa's name on the Trinity Road end of the Villa Park stadium.

Clamps hold Aston Villa's name in place

As you arrive at the Trinity Road end of Aston Villa's Villa Park stadium, one of the first things you see is the club's name, written in imposing lettering 2m high and 50m wide. When sign maker Omega Signs was commissioned to build and install the lettering, one of the first problems to resolve was how to fasten the sign into place.

Lindapter provided the quickest and easiest solution, with the bolt-on CF high-friction clamp. This enabled the lettering - which is mounted onto two channel sections - to be bolted onto the stadium's structural steelwork without drilling or welding. This greatly simplified the job, so the sign could be erected very rapidly, using just a 'cherry picker.'
