IBASE Technology is launching the ET976 COM Express Compact Type 6 module that is powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 SoC. Targeting graphics-intensive devices that need reliable performance to maintain stable operation, the ET976 is excellent for use in industrial automation, medical imaging, transportation and gaming, as well as payment systems and ATM machines.
The new ET976 Computer-on-Modules are currently available with a scalable selection of AMD Ryzen SoCs including V120B, V1605B, and V1807B, along with Radeon Vega 3 graphics that offer twice the level of performance when compared to its predecessor. Built with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM (supports ECC), the 125 x 95mm module provides triple independent display ports, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a high-definition audio controller; it also supports a wide variety of the high-speed interfaces on the carrier board such as eight USB 2.0, four USB 3.1 and two SATA III ports.
Wilson Lin, Director of IBASE's Product Planning Department, states: "The latest ET976 will benefit IBASE customers in the embedded computer markets thanks to the AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 processors that enable ultra-compact and power-efficient solutions. The Ryzen lineup based on AMD's new Zen micro-architecture delivers significantly increased computing and graphics performance to meet the growing needs of today's embedded technologies."
