Combination connectors carry power and signals
Harting's new Han K 4/4 combination connector combines power and signal contacts in a compact housing size Han 10 B.
Four power contacts rated at 63A, plus a separate PE contact for wire gauges up to 22mm2, are combined with four 16A signal contacts. Cable termination is achieved without any special tools, and the connectors can be terminated in the field, making them applicable in many diverse applications.
Due to its very compact size and finger-safe terminals, the Han K 4/4 is an excellent alternative to round CEE plugs for applications where connectors can be used instead of plugs.
