Compact components create incremental measuring system

Kuebler is launching the RI20 magnetic rings, which, combined with the LI20 sensor head, offer a particularly compact incremental rotary measuring system, suitable for installation areas where space is very tight.

With an installation depth of only 16mm, the system is suitable for applications where there is no room even for miniature encoders. When using the smallest size magnetic ring (31mm diameter) in conjunction with the LI20 measuring head, only 56.4mm diameter clearance is required.

High resistance to vibration and shock are ensured through the non-contact technology. The product can also be used outdoors thanks to the IP67 protection rating. The system has a wide operating temperature range of -20 to +80degC.

According to OEM Automatic, the system is also excellent for applications with a requirement to monitor large shafts up to 30mm.
