Concealed hinges make it easier to fit larger doors
Modern concealed hinges typically have separate hinge body and mounting plates that are installed in the door and carcass; the body and plate snap together when the door is fitted. However, with larger doors it can be awkward to align the hinges for snap fitting because the body can only be located at one end of the mounting plate.
With slots at both ends of the mounting plate, the Sugatsune 230 concealed hinge can be introduced at either end before pushing home. This fully adjustable hinge makes the fitter's job much easier.
An optional soft- or silent-closing damper is also available, which just screws on over the hinge body.
